Day 1: Departure for Adventure

Departure at 6:30 a.m. from your place of stay and transfer to Douz
Meeting and briefing on the progress of the excursion.
Distribution of quads and safety equipment.
Departure for the first stage of the raid across the large eastern erg.
Lunch break in the desert, a moment of sharing and conviviality.
Resumption of the raid in the afternoon, with ever more impressive landscapes.
Set up camp in the desert, dinner by the fire and night in tents, in the heart of the dunes.

Day 2: In the Heart of the Desert

NB: The excursion is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced quad riders.

The quads are easy to use and a safety briefing is provided to you before the start of the raid.

Information:

The transfer is done either by 4X4 or by microbus depending on the number of participants.

You will have a liability waiver to sign.

You will have one quad per person, children can ride behind an adult.

You will not have water to wash yourself, bring wet wipes.

There is no network in the desert, make your calls before leaving.

This excursion is not open to people with reduced mobility.

The price includes:

Pick-up and drop-off at your place of stay.
Authorizations for the desert.
Transport by 4x4 or private minibus, with driver.
The services of a guide approved by the ONTT*, speaking French, English, German or Italian.
Quads ( 1 quad per person ).
Picnic lunches.
Dinner and overnight in a Saharan camp.

Don't forget:

A complete change of clothes.
Toiletries and a towel.
Wet wipes.
A small trash bag.
A flashlight or headlamp.
Sunscreen.
Hat or cap.
Hiking shoes.
Sunglasses.
Backpack.
Water bottle.
Camera.
Warm clothes for the evening as it can get very cold in winter.
If you tend to feel cold, we recommend sportswear for sleeping and if you need to go out at night.
Some cash for personal expenses.

Preparing adequately for a bivouac in the desert will ensure a more pleasant and comfortable experience.

It is important to respect the desert and make sure to leave no trace of your visit.
