FROM TUNIS TWO DAYS IN THE DESERT IN 4X4 TOWARDS THE TEMBAINE MOUNTAIN

Day 1:

Early morning flight from Tunis to Djerba. (Optional flight on request - From Tunis to Djerba: Departure at 7:00 AM, arrival at 8:00 AM).

Arrival in Douz, the gateway to the Sahara, for a short break and an introduction to the desert journey.

At dusk, set up camp in the heart of the desert. The evening unfolds with a dinner under the stars, followed by stories and songs around the campfire.

Overnight stay in a traditional Saharan camp, offering a unique experience of sleeping under the clear desert sky.

Day 2:

Wake up to a peaceful sunrise and a hearty breakfast, preparing for a new day of adventure.

Morning exploration around the Tembaine mountain, capturing its beauty and grandeur.

Begin the return journey in mid-morning, taking a different route to enjoy new views of the desert landscape.

Stop for lunch in the desert, offering a final moment to appreciate the serene beauty of the Sahara.

Return to Douz in the afternoon, then transfer to Djerba for the return flight to Tunis. (Optional flight on request - From Djerba to Tunis: Departure at 8:15 PM, arrival at 9:15 PM).

Arrival in Tunis in the evening, marking the end of an unforgettable desert expedition.

Information:

The trip is done in 4X4.

Our vehicles can be equipped with baby seats on request.

There is no network in the desert, make your calls before leaving.

This trip is not open to people with reduced mobility.

The price includes:

Pickup and drop-off at Djerba airport.
Permits for the desert.
Transport in a private 4x4 vehicle with a Saharan driver.
Services of a guide approved by the ONTT*, speaking French, English, German, or Italian.
All meals, including picnics and meals at the Saharan camp.
Overnight stay at the Saharan camp in private tents (double tents).

Do not forget:

A complete change.
Toiletries and towels.
A flashlight or headlamp.
Solar cream.
Hat or cap.
Hiking boots.
Pair of sunglasses.
Camera.
For the evening, bring warm clothes as it can be very cold in winter.
If you are cold, we recommend sports tracksuits for sleeping and if you need to go out at night for an exercise.
