FROM TOZEUR A CAMEL RIDE IN THE DESERT

Departure from Tozeur for an exceptional adventure in the heart of the Tunisian desert with our excursion on the back of dromedaries in the desert at Douz, nicknamed the gateway to the desert.

We will pick you up in front of your place of stay in Tozeur for a day full of discoveries and emotions in the desert.

Upon arrival, your camel team will welcome you and introduce you to camel riding, before setting off on a two-hour trek into the desert, through endless desert landscapes.

Your camel drivers will prepare a traditional lunch for you in the middle of the desert. This break will allow you to enjoy the tranquility of the place and share a unique moment with your camel drivers.

The experience will end in Douz, where your driver and 4X4 will be waiting to take you back to your starting point.

This excursion is a golden opportunity for those wishing to live, even just for one day, the authentic experience of the Bedouin nomad way of life, while exploring the beauty and serenity of the Tunisian desert.

Transportation is either by 4x4 or minibus depending on the number of participants.

Our vehicles can be equipped with baby seats on request.

This day tour is not open to people with reduced mobility.

CAMEL RIDE PROGRAM DEPARTING FROM TOZEUR

Pick-up at 7:30 a.m. in front of your place of stay in Tozeur and departure for Douz.

Arrival in Douz around 9am.

After a coffee break you will meet your camel drivers and their dromedaries.

Then, it's time for the camel ride, 2 hours immersed in the desert on camels.

For lunch, the camel drivers will prepare a traditional Tunisian meal for you in the desert: A Tunisian salad, grilled meats, and bread baked in the sand.

Return to Douz in the middle of the afternoon, to meet your driver and his vehicle.

Return to Tozeur and drop off around 5:30 p.m. in front of your place of stay.

Hat or cap.

Pair of sunglasses.
A gourd.
A small backpack.
Camera.
Some cash for your personal expenses.

CAMEL RIDE PRICE IN DOUZ

Our prices are incl. VAT and in €, they decrease depending on the number of participants:

For 5 people, price per person	€90
For 4 people, price per person	€105
For 3 people, price per person	€125
For 2 people, price per person	€170

For more than 5 people and a single person, contact us!

For private day trips, reductions for children under 11 only apply to groups of 4 or more paying adults.

The price includes:

Pick-up and drop-off at your place of stay.

Transport by 4x4 or private minibus, with driver.

The 2-hour camel ride.
