An exceptional adventure in the heart of the Tunisian desert departing from Gabès with our camel ride in the desert in Douz.

From 6:30 a.m., we will pick you up in front of your place of stay in Gabès for a day of discoveries and emotions in the desert.

On your arrival, a team of experienced camel drivers will welcome you and introduce you to camel riding, before leaving for a two-hour trek in the desert, through magnificent landscapes as far as the eye can see.

The camel drivers will prepare a traditional lunch for you in the middle of the desert. This break will allow you to enjoy the tranquility of the place and share a unique moment with your camel drivers.

The experience will end in Douz, where your driver and his vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your starting point.

Information:
Transportation is either by 4x4 or minibus depending on the number of participants.

Our vehicles can be equipped with baby seats on request.

This excursion is not open to people with reduced mobility.

PROGRAM OF THE DAY TOUR CAMEL RIDE IN THE DESERT

Pick-up at 6:30 a.m. in front of your place of stay in Gabès and departure for Douz.
Arrival in Douz around 9am.
After a coffee break you will meet your camel drivers and their dromedaries.
Then, it's time for the camel ride, 2 hours immersed in the desert on camels.
For lunch, the camel drivers will prepare a traditional Tunisian meal for you in the desert: A Tunisian salad, grilled meats, and bread baked in the sand.
Return to Douz in the middle of the afternoon, to meet your driver and his vehicle.
Return to Gabès and drop off around 5:30 p.m. in front of your place of stay.

Hat or cap.

Pair of sunglasses.
A gourd.
A small backpack.
Camera.
Some cash for your personal expenses.

PRICE FOR THE CAMEL RIDE

Our prices are incl. VAT and in €, they decrease depending on the number of participants:

For 5 people, price per person	€90
For 4 people, price per person	€105
For 3 people, price per person	€125
For 2 people, price per person	€170

For more than 5 people and a single person, contact us!

For private day trips, reductions for children under 11 only apply to groups of 4 or more paying adults.

The price includes:

Pick-up and drop-off at your place of stay.
Transport by 4x4 or private minibus, with driver.
The services of an ONTT* approved camel guide
The 2-hour camel ride.
Picnic lunch.
Entrance fees to planned visits in the program.

Excluded from the price:

National or international flights.
