From Douz, set off into the vastness of the Tunisian desert with a spectacular 4x4 adventure, designed for adventurous spirits and nature lovers.

From October to May, join us for a two-day excursion that will take you through the vast sand dunes, to the majestic Tembaine Mountain.

Discover breathtaking landscapes, where the horizon extends to infinity and time seems to stand still.

Night under the stars in a Saharan camp will add a magical touch to this unique experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the mystery and beauty of the desert.

This adventure is an invitation to explore the hidden wonders of the Sahara, to experience intense moments and to create indelible memories in one of the most extraordinary settings on the planet.

4X4 ADVENTURE PROGRAM IN THE DESERT TOWARDS THE TEMBAINE MOUNTAIN

Day 1: Towards the Heart of the Desert

Pick-up at 9:30 a.m. in a 4x4 in front of your place of stay in Douz.
Departure to cross the immense sand dunes towards the Tembaine mountain.
Itinerary punctuated by impressive desert landscapes, offering total immersion in the diversity of the desert.
Stop for a picnic in the middle of the dunes, a moment of conviviality and sharing.
Setting up the Saharan camp at the end of the afternoon: relaxation, dinner under the stars and evening around a campfire.

Day 2: Immersion and Return

Wake up with the sunrise, breakfast at the camp with a view of the dunes.
Exploration of the Tembaine mountain and surrounding areas, discovering the magic of the changing landscapes of the desert.
Lunch in the desert before hitting the road in 4x4.
Return at the end of the afternoon to Douz.

Information:

The trip is done in 4X4.

Our vehicles can be equipped with baby seats on request.

There is no network in the desert, make your calls before leaving.

This trip is not open to people with reduced mobility.

Pick-up and drop-off at your place of stay.
Authorizations for the desert.
Transport by private 4x4, with Saharan driver.
The services of a guide approved by the ONTT*, speaking French, English, German or Italian.

Far from all civilization, this night under the stars offers a moment of pure escape, an opportunity to reconnect with nature in its most authentic expression.

The next day, the adventure continues with the exploration of Tembaine mountain, a jewel of the desert whose colors and shapes change with the light. After lunch in this exceptional setting, the return to civilization marks the end of this desert epic, but the images and emotions experienced remain engraved forever.

For the evening, bring warm clothes as it can be very cold in winter.
If you are cold, we recommend sports tracksuits for sleeping and if you need to go out at night for an exercise.
