From 8:00 a.m., embark from Douz for a unique and authentic day of adventure in the heart of the Tunisian desert.

This immersive experience will allow you to join the camel drivers and their dromedaries on the outskirts of Douz, where your unforgettable camel journey will begin.
After an invigorating coffee break, you will be introduced to camel riding, a prelude to a four-hour ride through the captivating landscapes of the Sahara.

In the heart of the desert, far from all civilization, a traditional Tunisian lunch will be prepared for you by your camel driver: a tasty Tunisian salad, juicy grilled meats, and bread freshly baked in the sand, offering an authentic gourmet break under the azure sky.

Your return to Douz in the middle of the afternoon will conclude this Saharan escape, leaving you with indelible memories of freedom, landscapes as far as the eye can see and a profound encounter with the nomadic culture of the desert.

Morning: Meeting with the Desert

Pick-up in Douz and direction to the camel drivers.
Coffee break and meeting with the camel drivers and their dromedaries.
Introduction to camel riding and start of the ride in the desert.

Lunch in the Desert

Preparation and tasting of a traditional Tunisian lunch in the middle of the desert, a unique culinary experience.

Afternoon: Return to Civilization

Continuation of the camel ride, immersion in the tranquility of the Sahara.
Return to Douz in the middle of the afternoon.
Drop off at your place of stay around 5:30 p.m.

Our prices are incl. VAT and in €, they decrease depending on the number of participants:

For more than 5 people and a single person, contact us!

For private day trips, reductions for children under 11 only apply to groups of 4 or more paying adults.
