This six-day trip is designed for history buffs and adventurous souls eager to delve into Tunisia's rich cultural heritage.
Day 1 begins with a spectacular exploration of the ancient Roman city of El Jem, home to Africa's largest amphitheater, followed by an immersion in spirituality at Kairouan, where the Grand Mosque and Aghlabid pools offer a glimpse of Islamic architecture and engineering.
Day 2 takes you to discover the Sidi Sahbi mausoleum and the Jugurtha Tables, an impressive natural site, before resting in El Kef, a town rich in history and tradition.
Day 3 is devoted to exploring the kasbah of El Kef, the Water Temple and the ancient city of Bulla Regia, famous for its unique underground houses, then Dougga, a UNESCO archaeological site which bears witness to the greatness of the Roman Empire.
Day 4 introduces you to Thuborbo Majus and its ancient temples, before concluding in Tunis, with a visit to Carthage and the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said, offering a magnificent view of the Mediterranean.
Day 5 is a day dedicated to history and viticulture, with a visit to the medina of Tunis, followed by a tasting in the vineyards of Mornag, then an exploration of Kerkouane and the Kélibia fort.
Day 6 ends this journey in Sousse and Monastir, where museums, ribats and medinas offer a last look at the cultural and historical richness of Tunisia, before returning to your starting point.
